The Role
A Lead DevOps Engineer is liable for automating all the transmission tasks for developing and deploying lawmaking and data to implement continuous deployment and continuous integration frameworks. They are moreover held responsible for maintaining upper availability of production and non-production work environments.
Lead DevOps Engineer Roles and Responsibilities
Designing and implementing highly efficient solutions on Pubic Deject (Amazon Web Services) for security, resilience, performance, networking, availability, and Blue-green deployments in the context of merchant applications.
Security Hardening of deject infrastructure application/web server versus known/unknown vulnerabilities.
Assess merchant’s needs and requirements to ensure the towardly tideway to solve vendee challenges
Expert in Capacity Planning Design, forfeit, and effort estimations
Experience in Infra forfeit optimization
Deliver best-in-class operations tooling & practices, including CI/ CD
Writing infrastructure as lawmaking for public or private clouds and implementing modern deject Integration tracery using –
Configuration Management (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible )
CI tools (Any)
Scripting language: Python, Bash and Shell
Container services like ECS, ACS, GCE or Kubernetes
Architecting and implementing end-to-end monitoring solutions in the cloud
Understand compliance and security
Design for failover, upper availability, MTTR, MTTF, and MTB
Lead DevOps Engineer Must have an understanding of SDLC
Report on merchants and process metrics
Balance governance, ownership, and self-rule versus reliability
Develop, motivate, empower, and evaluate individual contributors and grow their professional, leadership, and technical skills
Should be well versed with IaaC specially Terraform
Should be well versed with networking at AWS
Should be wise to manage infrastructure operations at the bank.
Mandatory Qualifications
Overall wits of 10 years in Infrastructure
5 years of working in the Deject (Public, & Private) with wide-stretching knowledge of one or increasingly Public Clouds (AWS preferred)
Proven worthiness to plan and execute transpiration on a large scale
Can manage multiple projects simultaneously; worldly-wise to evaluate progress or mitigate risks
Knowledge of emerging technologies, various platforms, tools, and products, and their respective applications
Have a few weekend side projects up on GitHub
Have unsalaried to an open-source project
Have worked at a product company
Have a working knowledge of a backend programming language
